P.E. Clark and Sons Pty. Ltd. was established by Percival Ernest Clark during the great depression in 1930.
Throughout those years and with the outbreak of World War ** the business expanded, principally due to maintenance work commissioned by local estate agents. At the end of the war Percivals sons joined the family business as apprentices:
Russell Ernest Clark - Painting & Decorating
Norman Albert Clark - French Polishing
Henry William Clark - Carpentry
After Percival died in 1959, the business continued to expand under the direction of Norman and
Russell which resulted in various relocations within the St. George area.
